Lessons from the Beatles and beyond
I’ve always wanted to go to space. 🚀
When Virgin Galactic first announced they were selling tickets, I was one of the first in line. The dream of seeing Earth from above, of being part of that great adventure, was irresistible.
My wife, Missy, said I’m not taking cash out of our accounts so I thought of another way.
I remembered a story about Paul McCartney and John Lennon. One day in 1964, they sat down to write a new song. Paul had just upgraded his house, and they joked, “Let’s write a swimming pool.” That little afternoon turned into the hit HELP!
So I decided to write a rocketship…

It’s too easy to say, “I can’t afford it,” or some other excuse and just move on.
But why not creatively consider how you could write yourself whatever you want – instead of waiting for someone else’s launchpad.
