Sun Spark #111: The story of the sloth, the rainbow hammock and a Cosmic Yes

Ask wonderfully, wisely & whimsically…without attachment

Sometimes what you want is one little “ask” away…and maybe even right next door!

Nine months into no travel in 2020, I finally found myself barefoot in the sand with a huge exhale at the water’s edge.

Looking to my left, that’s when I spotted it – a radiant rainbow hammock hanging like a cosmic wink outside my neighbor’s door.

I felt the jolt of energy!

I knew THIS hammock…

Not from Instagram.

Not from a catalog.

But from the CosmoVision shared during a cacao ceremony many months earlier in Costa Rica.

And instead of truly asking for what I wanted, I tiptoed around my desire.

Originally, I told the neighbors how nice their hammock was, hoping they’d invite me to use it anytime. But that’s not what they said. They simply nodded and probably thought me quite odd for complimenting their hammock.

So one morning, I snuck into the hammock at sunrise, praying their dogs wouldn’t wake them up.

I was quite a sight…

Teetering with one leg in, one out – uncertain if I would get in trouble or not.

And when the sun rose, I instantly hopped out and hastily high-tailed it back to my villa.

But over the course of the few days of this retreat – I also transformed.

Then finally I asked the neighbors for what I TRULY wanted in a whole new way…

I asked wonderfully, wisely, and whimsically and without attachment.

They said, “YES!”

But what makes it even more incredible is many months afterwards, I randomly did some calculations and realized it was exactly 333 days from the very first cacao ceremony to when I spotted the rainbow hammock. I just cannot make this up!

So what are you dancing around today?

What if your soul’s Cosmic hammock is already hanging nearby, waiting for you to ask with joy?

P.S. Being Sun Spark #111 – this is another perfect synchronicity. The clue is in the drawing itself – see if you spot it.
